Pricing, Call-Outs & Fault Finding

Pricing will be confirmed before attendance or before works commence wherever reasonably possible. Some work can be priced as a fixed quotation, while fault finding, diagnostics and smaller works are commonly charged by call-out and/or hourly rate.

Quotations / estimates
Provided for clearly defined works and valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Standard hourly work
Hourly rates are confirmed before booking or attendance. Materials are charged in addition unless included in a fixed quotation.
Call-out charge
A minimum call-out charge may apply depending on location, time of attendance and nature of the fault or work required.
Fault finding
Diagnostic and investigation time is chargeable whether or not the fault is immediately located or repaired during the visit.
Emergency / out-of-hours
Emergency, urgent or out-of-hours attendance may be charged at an increased rate. Charges will be agreed where possible before work is carried out.
Materials
Materials, specialist items, parking, waste disposal or additional agreed costs may be charged separately unless included within the quotation.

Note: If you would like fixed pricing for planned work, please request a quotation before booking. Fault finding and emergency works may need to be charged based on time and materials due to the unknown nature of the issue.

Cancellation, Delays & Rebooking

  1. The client should provide as much notice as possible if an appointment or agreed work date needs to be cancelled or rearranged.
  2. NSE (SE) Ltd reserves the right to charge for cancelled appointments where insufficient notice is provided, access is not available, or materials have been ordered specifically for the works.
  3. NSE (SE) Ltd will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including supplier delays, unsafe site conditions, lack of access, weather, illness or emergency attendance elsewhere.
